One inconvenient and rather annoying part about the Safari browser on iPhone is that whenever you open a link in a new tab, the screen automatically switches to the new tab.
In comparison, when you open a link using the Chrome browser on iPhone, the link always opens in the background, allowing you to keep browsing the webpage that you are currently working on.

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
